Today I begin my mud blog because I want people to understand that regulations, ordinances, and laws are meaningless unless they are enforced. The new stormwater ordinance isn't going to make a difference unless we make a change in the way we enforce what we have written.

This is my 3rd year of collecting photos, videos, inspection reports, e-mails, and Notices of Violation (NOVs). During this time, I have been plagued by muddy discharge from a construction site next door. Despite the existence of laws designed to protect me from runoff, the development continues. The pictures will speak for themselves.
